The Crop Residue Removal Threshold Ensures Sustainable Agriculture in the Purple Soil Region of Sichuan, China

Sichuan, a hilly area in southwestern China, is recommended as bioethanol production base because of its abundant crop residue resources. However, removing the straw for may negatively affect soil fertility and productivity due to local purple vulnerability. To explore impact removal on meet needs sustainable agriculture, we conducted experiment by measuring organic carbon (SOC), total nitrogen (TN), phosphorus (TP) contents, yield region southwest China.
